Learn to create heart shaped rattles in this family oriented workshop for the movers and shakers in your family. Rattles have been used in many cultures as a form of healing and ritual. They are currently used by many in our 7pm sessions to cheer for our essential workers. Rattles are a great tool for moving energy and connecting with the elements. These classes are offered on a sliding scale basis in our hopes to make this accessible to all. For those based in our Washington Heights, NYC community the cost of the class includes, clay to make two rattles and the cost of firing. Materials must be picked up and dropped off at our studio. Your rattle can be decorated at home after the firing with sharpies, nail polish, or acrylic paints.
