Join in community to create heart rattles for fundraising efforts to support healing and unity.  

Rattles have been used in many cultures as a form of healing and ritual and as a tool for moving energy. I invite you to read more about the benefits and uses of rattles in this article on Rattle Medicine.

Every evening at 8:15 this week we will join together through Zoom to focus on heart energy, sowing our dreams for a more just and united world into the rattles we create.

These community gatherings are offered for free and rattles can be donated for fundraising efforts. Once we have enough rattles we will have an online sale and use the funds generated to support charities working to help those most marginalized in our society.  I’m still trying to narrow down the charity so feel free to speak out if you have one that is near and dear to you.  There are so many to choose from and there is so much need now.

For those based in our Washington Heights, NYC community materials may  be picked up and dropped off at our studio.  If you are outside of our community you are still welcome to join. We can assist you in finding local resources for clay, glazes, and firing. There are already people from several states joining us in these efforts.

Your rattle can be decorated at home after the firing with sharpies, nail polish, or acrylic paints, or we can schedule time to work with glazes from our studio on an individual basis.
